About the founder
You are not here because something is wrong with you.
You are here because something has been hard for long enough. Before you decide whether to reach out, it makes sense to want to know who you are reaching out to. That is what this page is for.
This page is about who I am, how I work and why I chose this work. Take your time. Read what resonates.

Why this work matters to me
Why I chose this work.
Earlier in my life I experienced significant trauma. I know what it feels like to carry something heavy without having the words for it yet. I know what it takes to finally decide to sit across from someone and begin. That experience shapes how I show up, with patience for the parts that are hard to say, and genuine respect for the courage it takes to be in that room at all.
I have also been the person who held things together for everyone around them while quietly running out of room for their own history. I understand what it costs to be the strong one. I understand what it means to need something and not know how to ask for it without feeling like you are failing a role you have always held.
Having lived and worked across multiple countries and cultures, I understand that how people make sense of their struggles, ask for help and define what healing looks like is not universal. It is shaped by where you come from, what you have been taught and what life has asked of you. I work with people from all backgrounds. I have a particular commitment to supporting individuals from BIPOC and immigrant communities, not because this practice is for one group only, but because representation in the therapy room matters, and I want people to know they are welcome here without having to explain themselves first.

Therapeutic modalities
The work is shaped by what you actually bring.
No single approach works for every person or every history. The frameworks listed below are the ones I draw from. Which ones I use, and how, depends entirely on what you bring into the session. The approach always follows you, not the other way around.

DBT
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
Practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance and navigating difficult moments.
ACT

CPT

EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
A structured approach for processing distressing memories and trauma that are still affecting the present.
MI
Motivational Interviewing
Exploring ambivalence and building motivation for the kind of change that actually sticks.
IFS
Internal Family Systems
Understanding the different parts of yourself and how they interact, especially the ones in conflict.
GTM
Gottman Method
Research-based couples therapy focused on rebuilding friendship, navigating conflict and creating shared meaning.
