This Website is an informational and administrative resource for Emeth Psychological Services. It is intended to provide general information about the practice, the practitioner, and the services offered, and to direct prospective and current clients to our scheduling platform.

The content on this Website is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute psychological advice, assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on this Website creates a professional relationship between you and Emeth Psychological Services or Heartwill Elewosi.

No Psychologist-Client Relationship

Accessing this Website, submitting a contact inquiry, or booking a free consultation through our scheduling system does not establish a psychologist-client relationship. A psychologist-client relationship is only established upon the completion of a formal informed consent process, which includes the execution of a written consent agreement and the commencement of clinical services.

The complimentary consultation offered through this practice is a pre-service conversation of up to 45 minutes intended to allow both parties to determine whether the practice is a suitable fit. It does not constitute a psychological assessment or treatment session. Information shared during a consultation is treated with discretion but does not carry the full confidentiality protections of an established clinical relationship until formal consent has been completed.

Professional Registration and Supervised Practice

Heartwill Elewosi is registered as a Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and practises under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist as required by the Health Professions Act (Alberta). Supervision requirements are disclosed on this Website and in all client-facing documentation.

Psychological services offered through this practice are provided in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the College of Alberta Psychologists and all applicable provincial legislation. Services are available to clients located in Alberta and virtually in Nova Scotia only, subject to applicable registration requirements.

Booking, Scheduling, and the Jane App Platform

Appointment bookings are made through Jane App (Jane Software Inc.), accessible via heartbodymind.janeapp.com/locations/riverwest-therapy-collective-calgary. Jane App is a third-party platform and is not operated or controlled by Emeth Psychological Services.

Emeth Psychological Services shares a Jane App booking and practice management system with other practitioners at Riverwest Therapy Collective (heartbodymind.ca). Each practitioner maintains confidential and separate client records within the shared platform. Shared use of the platform infrastructure does not constitute shared access to clinical records.

Your use of the Jane App platform is governed by Jane App’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at www.janeapp.com. Emeth Psychological Services is not responsible for the operation, availability, accuracy, or security of the Jane App platform.

Booking a consultation through our Jane App link does not guarantee service availability. We reserve the right to decline to provide services to any individual at our professional discretion.

Service Fees, Payments, and Cancellations

Current service fees are:

• Individual therapy, 50 minutes: CAD $240
• Individual therapy, 90 minutes: CAD $360
• Couples counselling, 90 minutes: CAD $360
• Complimentary consultation: up to 45 minutes, no charge, no obligation
• Psychological assessments: fees vary; contact the practice directly for information
• Sliding scale fees: available from CAD $150 per session for clients who qualify

Fees are subject to change. Current fees will always be confirmed prior to the commencement of service. Payment is processed through Jane App’s secure payment platform.

Cancellation and late cancellation policies are communicated at intake and through the informed consent documentation. Clients are responsible for reviewing and complying with the cancellation policy in effect at the time of service.

Psychological services provided by Emeth Psychological Services may be eligible for reimbursement through certain employee benefit plans, insurance policies, or other third-party coverage. Clients are responsible for confirming coverage with their insurer or plan administrator. Emeth Psychological Services does not bill insurers directly at this time and may consider doing so in the future.
