You have been strong for a very long time. Strong enough that no one thinks to ask how you are actually doing.
Therapy for the person who takes care of everyone and has never quite found the space to be the one who gets taken care of.
If you are also carrying your history, your culture, or the weight of being the one who made it and you have not yet found a room where you did not have to translate yourself first, this practice may be that room.

Truth
Saying what is real, even when it is hard. The person who has been holding things together deserves a room where they do not have to pretend otherwise.
Steadiness
Showing up consistently while you find your footing. You have been steady for everyone else for a long time. This is where something is steady for you.
Faithfulness
A commitment to you that does not waver. Your history, your culture, your way of carrying things are all welcome here.
About this practice
Built for the person who gives everything and has never quite known how to receive it.
Most people who find their way here have one thing in common. They have been the strong one in their family, at work, in their community for so long that needing something themselves has started to feel like a contradiction.
Some are also carrying something older than the exhaustion. A history that has never had the space it deserves. A culture that taught them that asking for help is weakness. An identity stretched between worlds with no language for what that costs.
Emeth means truth, steadiness and faithfulness. This practice carries that name because those three things are what the work is built on. Honesty about what is actually happening, consistency while you find your footing, and a commitment to your whole story, not just the parts that are easy to bring into a room.
I work with adults and couples navigating caregiver burnout, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, chronic pain and relationship difficulties. I have a particular commitment to supporting individuals from BIPOC and immigrant communities, not because this practice is for one group only, but because representation in the therapy room matters, and I want people to know they are welcome here. I also offer psychological assessments for adults and children when needed.
You have been last on your own list for long enough. Showing up is the hardest part. Everything else we figure out together.

A space where you do not have to perform being okay
Every session follows your lead
How we meet
You have already done the hardest part.
Deciding to reach out when you have spent your whole life being the one who holds things together is not a small thing. Where and how you attend your sessions should not add another obstacle to what you have already overcome to get here.

What we offer
You do not have to arrive with the right words.
Most people who find their way here know that something has been sitting with them for too long. They do not always know what to call it yet. That is exactly what the first conversation is for.
Individual Therapy
For the person who has been holding it together for everyone else and has not had a room to put any of it down. We work through burnout, trauma, anxiety, chronic pain, life transitions and the things that have never quite had the space they deserved.
Psychological Assessment
For adults and children who have been wondering for a long time whether something else is going on. Assessments provide answers grounded in evidence rather than guesswork and open doors to the right kind of support going forward.
Couples Counselling
For two people who still care but have run out of ways to reach each other. We work on the patterns keeping you stuck, not just the argument you had last week. Including intercultural and bicultural partnerships navigating the weight of two worlds.
Ready when you are
You have been carrying this for long enough.
You found this page. You read this far. For the person who has spent their whole life being the strong one, that is not nothing. Most people who need support spend weeks or months finding reasons not to reach out.
The first conversation costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. It is 45 minutes with someone who is actually listening. Not to assess you, not to fix you. Just to hear what you have been carrying and talk about whether this practice is the right fit.
If you are a caregiver, a helper, or someone whose history has never quite had the space it deserves, this is a place worth reaching out to.
